Pre Requisites

  • Completed a role-based administrator course such as Messaging, Teamwork, Security and Compliance, or Collaboration.

  • Proficient understanding of DNS, Microsoft 365 services, and general IT practices.

  • Working knowledge of PowerShell.

  • Attend MD-102: Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, or equivalent experience and knowledge.

  • Navigating the Microsoft Project interface.

  • Customizing the Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar.

  • Building a project plan with a work breakdown structure (WBS).

  • Setting up tasks, summary tasks, and milestones, and identifying their relationships.

  • Estimating and setting task and project durations, including deadlines.

  • Managing subprojects within a master project.

  • Creating and updating project calendars.

  • Implementing calendar changes and saving them to the global template.

  • Sharing calendars with other stakeholders.

  • Establishing relationships between project, task, and resource calendar

  • Establishing a tracking process for your project.

  • Updating project plans with tracking data.

  • Reviewing project task updates for timeline issues.

  • Resolving scheduling problems.

  • Defining work, material, and cost resources.

  • Assigning resources to tasks.

  • Troubleshooting resource assignments.

  • Investigating and resolving resource overallocations.
